Chris started playing the guitar at ten years old and has an open minded interest in all types of music.
He’s been involved in an assortment of bands and studio work over the past 25 years.
After completing several guitar and music theory classes he moved on from high school to study
advanced courses in guitar and music theory, music business, piano and recording.
He started teaching friends in high school and since then has taught over 1,000 students acoustic and electric
guitar, bass, drums, music theory, songwriting techniques and recording during his career as a music instructor.
His students have ranged in all ages from absolute beginners to highly advanced players.
He has the ability to adjust quickly to the needs and interests of any aspiring player.
Chris can learn and transpose songs to the guitar almost instantly, and does this for students
who want to learn specific songs.
Chris is patient with beginners and knows exactly what works for them and how to keep them excited about learning.
